Music To My Ears

Forget the soothing elevator music found in most public bathrooms. Concert films, music documentaries and music-related biographies are a great way to use some tunes to drown out the pain and splashes…. Providing a soundtrack to the mud, sweat, and tears of a typical flight….

The Last Waltz
A Hard Day’s Night
Yellow Submarine
HELP!
Standing in the Shadows of Motown
Some Like It Hot

When We First Suspected Hollywood Bugged Our Van

A short while after the merry travelers founded this great tradition of In-Flight Movies...... we started to notice Hollywood putting out films with titles that could only be described as "dog whistles," noises that only WE could hear.... signals to let us know that they were naming these movies for US. There was no other way to explain it. Obviously Hollywood had bugged our van and started getting in on the joke with us by releasing the following movies:

HOPE FLOATS

SEABISCUIT

SNAKES ON A PLANE

Now, while THERE WILL BE BLOOD seems so, uh, painfully obvious (and will probably end up being included on every list on this site), the wink-wink nod-nod from Hollywood directly to us really started with the above three movies.
